This was a new venture for us and Dunedin Dancers in 2018, and it was so good we hope it will become a regular feature of our dancing calendar. The programme of dances will have something for everyone, whatever your age and experience, and we hope lots of our members and friends will come along to support this.

All dance organisations are being encouraged to shout about and share their love of dance and we’d like you to join us to show our passion for Scottish country dancing.
As part of this, our event will be recorded and hopefully broadcast as part of this UK wide initiative.
Don’t worry if you’ve not made it to a class, we’d love to see you anyway.

This is the highlight of our dancing year and is always a fantastic evening in the historic setting of Greyfriars Kirk.
We are delighted to be welcoming Iain MacPhail and his Scottish dance band to play for us again and are sure they will keep us on our toes the whole evening with amazing music to dance to.
The Grassmarket Café, a local social enterprise, are making a welcome return serving a buffet supper of fresh, local produce.
Tickets are on sale now and we recommend that you apply early as this event regularly sells out. You can use our PayPal page to book on-line.
Tickets will be posted early in 2019 and will include cribs for all the dances. There are no recaps at this event, however you are welcome to join us at the pre Ball Workshop for a fun afternoon practicing some of the dances. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other dancers ahead of the event, in a relaxed and informal setting.
