RSCDS Membership through Edinburgh Branch costs £39 and helps with running both local activities and setting international standards, training and publications. From this amount, £9 is retained by the Edinburgh Branch and the remainder passed on to the world-wide parent body, RSCDS.
Discounts are available for Joint members (£70 for two members at the same address) as well as those under 25 (£33).
Membership of Edinburgh Branch only, at a cost of £9, is available to those already members of RSCDS either directly via HQ or another Branch.

Scottish Country Dancing has become a way of life for me.
RSCDS Edinburgh is a particularly active Branch, with several classes and dance sessions to choose from. The emphasis is on enjoyment and a genuine welcome is extended to dancers of all abilities.
Through Summer School I’ve made friends of all ages and from all parts of the world - many of whom stay in regular contact in between opportunities to reconnect on a dancefloor somewhere.
While fitness may not be the primary goal, it’s certainly a welcome by-product. In short – what’s not to like?

In addition to this, your membership of RSCDS Edinburgh also gives you membership of the wider RSCDS which supports teacher training, provision of books and music, accreditation for dancers along with maintaining the standards of dance for all.
